Manon Blanchet / Assistant

From 1974 to 2006, Manon Blanchet worked as one of James O’Reilly’s senior assistants and played an important role in the preparation of important proceedings, pleadings and general administrative documents for the firm. Manon rejoined O’Reilly, André-Grégoire & Associés (then O’Reilly & Associés) in 2015, after working at another boutique firm, and has since supported all members of the team.
As the keeper of the office’s institutional memory, Manon’s work on litigation and administration is indispensable. In particular, her contribution is central to an historical project recounting the events leading to the adoption of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement and its subsequent years of successful implementation.
Manon has adapted to the changes in legal affairs, Aboriginal law, and information technology over the last few decades, always looking for ways to make the firm’s work more efficient and fluid. She is a pillar in her steadfast support of the firm and its members.
